The Wonders of the El Dorado Mexican Grill Food Truck
Should you find yourself road-tripping from San Francisco to places north on Highway 101, make it a point to stop for a snack, lunch, anything at the El Dorado Mexican Grill Food Truck on the grounds of the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds. Rest assured that adventurers, bashful or otherwise, would not be directed toward dining in a fairground parking lot unless the food was really worth it.
The food is really worth it. Nothing says ‘welcome to California’ like the freshness of the vegetables in the tacos at the El Dorado Mexican Grill Food Truck. I break the vegan code and indulge in flexitarian shrimp tacos, and they are worth every bite. The Brawny Sherpa orders calamari and flautas, and we wash everything down with fructose-free Mexican Cokes.
Have I mentioned that these are the best tacos ever? That we aren’t typically willing to sit in fairground parking lots eating tacos? That these tacos are so good that on our return trip from northern California back down to San Francisco, we deliberately stop here again and eat some more?
Go to the fairgrounds, get some tacos. You won’t be sorry.
