Should you find yourself in Hoosick Falls NY, a place closer to Vermont than to Albany, consider yourself fortunate if you happen to happen upon a roadside coffee stand called Lumber Jack’s Coffee and Snacks. If the smiling bear statue doesn’t make you smile, surely the maple latte will. It happens to come with good (friendly, speedy, helpful) service, just a mild upsell (would we like a tee shirt with our coffees and beans?), and just the perfect little amusing place that will make you remember Hoosick Falls NY forever.
Have fun! And remember to caffeinate responsibly.

Where Is Hoosick Falls, NY?
Hoosick Falls, northeast of Albany, NY, is just over the border from Vermont and the Green Mountain National Forest. I happen to run across it on a road trip home from Bennington, VT back to Westchester County, NY.
