Where to Stay in New Jersey

Summer and surfing and the Jersey shore combine so easily. Easy memories of time spent at Beach Haven, Point Pleasant, and Seaside Heights are bright, no matter how distant from the present.

I am fortunate to have some well-placed relatives near Exit 63 on the Garden State Parkway, but here are some Jersey shore places I like to stay when cousins aren’t calling:
- Mariner Inn, Beach Haven Gardens, Long Beach Island
- Surfside Motel, Point Pleasant Beach
- Howard Johnson by Wyndham, Toms River (drive to nearby Seaside Heights)
