Will Romance Be on Ice in February?
What I think of when I think of visiting Venice in winter is rats and rain and floods and chills. What I get when I visit Venice in winter is balmy days, a bit of rain, more crowds than I had anticipated (thanks to Carnevale and Valentine’s Day), and dry squares, and umbrellas for guests in hotel lobbies, and vaporetto rides and art and churches and restorations.
Undecided about visiting Venice when the weather might be less than perfect? Go anyway.
