Food So Good I Almost Eat the Plate

One place I don’t go to enough is Lalibela, an Ethiopian restaurant in Mount Kisco, N.Y. Ethiopian restaurants are a great choice for mixed couples: carnivores like the Brawny Sherpa can enjoy the beef/lamb/chicken, and vegetarians/ vegans/flexitarians like me have plenty of options, too. Most recently at Lalibela, we enjoyed vegan strawberry cheesec ake (made with cashews) and some super-strong Ethiopian coffee following a vegetarian combo where we just couldn’t let the gravy-soaked injera on which our entrée was served go to waste. I could eat here every day.
